KEL-DPF-OD | Pyramid cable entry grommets for extreme conditions
for single cables with diam. up to 60 mm, M25-M75 / IP66/IP68 / UL Type 4X
The KEL-DPF-OD is ideally suited for applications in which cable entries are permanently exposed to strong UV radiation, weathering and temperature fluctuations. Compared to standard versions, it offers increased material resistance and extended service life in outdoor environments. Thanks to its approvals, it is particularly suitable for the use in photovoltaic systems (UL 6703, UL 6703A, UL 3703, UL 1703).
F1 listing (UV and weather resistance according to UL 746C): The long-term durability means an increased service life without embrittlement or material fatigue.
The KEL-DPF-OD was developed particularly for routing large or unknown sizes of unterminated cables into control panels, containers or machinery (max. cable diameter 60 mm). Due to the flexibility and unique pyramid shape, cable entry and flexible positioning is much easier compared to using conventional cable glands. Also perfect for bundling or restraining large cables.
It is recommended that additional strain relief be provided for cables using cable ties.
Cutting of DPF-OD grommets: Cable diameter less 20%. The corresponding diameters are marked on the grommet.
